News reports suggest that police were sent to a residence on south Scrubgrass road in Bedford County last Thursday night around 10pm, where apparently several people were being held inside the structure. At one point. Two kids and one adult escaped the house after a flash grenade was tossed toward the front door of the house. After several more flash grenades were thrown at the home, police went in and apprehended one person who exited the house. Troopers did not release any specific information pertaining to the 18 hour standoff.
