
A report by WTAJ indicates police arrested 18 year old Preston Brindle of Spring City in Chester County and charged him with strangling his girlfriend during a violent struggle at a Penn State dorm last Friday. The report said that the victim tried to break up with Brindle, but he started to physically assault her, and sat on her to try and take her phone. He then proceeded to grab her throat and began choking her. The victim also told police Brindle began a sexual assault during the incident. Several witnesses were able to get inside the dorm room and force brindle to leave. He was arrested and charged with several felonies and is locked up in the Centre County jail on $115,000 bail.
