
In a report from Harrisburg, Gov. Wolf has signed House Bill 1094 into law. This bill will now mandate that all Pennsylvania drivers are to remove all snow and ice buildup from all parts of their vehicles during winter storms. The bill states that drivers have 24 hours after a storm has ceased to clear their vehicles to remove any danger to other drivers. The hood, trunk and roof of vehicles must be clear of all snow and ice, or drivers could be subject to fines of no less than $200 up to no more than $1500 for each offense. The new law goes into effect i n 60 days, well ahead of the winter season.
