Rep. Lou Schmitt (R-Blair) and Sen. Judy Ward (R-30) announced today Two municipalities in Blair County will receive a combined $626,583 to improve traffic flow and safety. Shmitt adding, “This funding is a direct result of the recently enacted budget and I am glad Blair County is already seeing valued infrastructure funding come into the area,” Altoona will receive – $266,644 for the modernization of the traffic signal at Broad Avenue and 29th Street. Logan Township will receive $359,939 for the modernization of the traffic signal at East Pleasant Valley Road and East Walton Avenue.
