In a recent report, channel 6 is asking to see police search warrants pertaining to an unnamed case. Channel 6 had asked a Centre County judge to unseal the warrants, and according to channel 6, a judge has agreed to do just that. The case, according to this report involves a potential civil lawsuit against Penn State. The Centre Daily Times along with Spotlight a have joined channel 6 in the effort to unseal the warrants to gain access to the previously sealed information.
