In an Associated Press report, the state has reported that 64 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties have been certified for their election results from the may 17th primary. Only Berks, Lancaster and Fayette counties have not been certified because of an ongoing legal dispute with the wolf administration. The legal battle concerns mail in ballots that do not contain handwritten dates that weren’t counted in those 3 counties. Democrats say that the law concerning handwritten dates has no legitimate purpose in determining the legality of a ballot, and not counting those ballots violates voters rights.
