In a report by channel 6, 32 year old Trevor Snowberger of Bellwood entered guilty pleas yesterday in Centre County court. Police reports state that in November of 2021, Snowberger was found in his car along route 220 at Skytop Mountain road. Police say that Snowberger was accused of raping a woman in Boggs Twp. As they approached his car to talk to him about the assault, Snowberger pulled out a gun and shot himself in the face, causing serious damage. Snowberger was hospitalized for quite some time, but has since recovered. He pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of assault, reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats. He is to be sentenced September 13th.
