Police and news reports indicate that Alisha Leslie and Joshua Turiano were taken into custody after police were sent to a home on the 600 block of 20th avenue last seek. Police found the home had no running water, trash strewn everywhere either in bags or lose on counters and the floors. Turiano told police the water had been shut off since late July for not paying the bill. Several children had been living in the home since the end of the school year. Police reported they found several baggies stamped with “W22”, which is typically used for opioid addiction treatment. Turiano is free on $25,00 bond, while Leslie is still in the Blair County jail on $25,000 cash bond.
