A report by WTAJ indicates that someone broke into former Cresson State Prison and reportedly made off with props, masks and costumes for an upcoming Halloween haunted house event. Police report that someone broke into the Imaginarium Sanitarium and made off with the goods. The owner of the business called police after he discovered shattered glass at the facility. Altoona police had a description of a vehicle possibly used in the robbery, and reported they say plastic props in the back seat. The owner was quoted as saying he cold rebound from a break in, but not the theft of his property. The owner said the attraction will proceed as planned beginning September 30th.
