Back taxes owed in Centre County

Television news reports indicate that charges have been filed against the owners of a State College restaurant failed to pay back taxes to the state. Yean Ngan the owner of the Little Szechuan Restaurant is charged with not paying more than $600,000 in back taxes from 2017-2022. Two other shops that Ngan owned closed down last year. The reports say that Ngan failed to comply with several orders from the state to pay the back taxes during that time period. The report also stated the Ngan reportedly confessed to not paying the taxes, instead, she used the money for business expenses. She is charged with theft, failing to submit sales/tax files, and failure to file withholding returns.
