State Police say they are searching for Tammy Berkey of Berlin after she was reported missing sometime around August 11th. Troopers went to Berkey’s home and spoke to her brother identified as James Foy Jr. Troopers reported that while they searched the home, Foy went into another room and killed himself with a gunshot. Troopers administered life saving measures, but Foy died from the self inflicted wound. Police did not find any clues as to the whereabouts of Berkey. Somerset troopers continue to investigate.
