WTAJ reported that police in Lawrence Twp. arrested 35 year old James Wise Jr for breaking into a car. Police reported that they found wise in the trunk of a car that he broke into on Tuesday. Wise told police that he owned the car and had to smash out the trunk window to get a spare key. After running the plates, police discovered wise was not the owner. Then he was asked again why he was in the trunk, wise told officers he bought the car from a friends mother, and he had a pink slip for proof. But police knew the car belonged to someone else. Wise was was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, theft, disorderly conduct and trespassing. He is locked up in the Clearfield County jail.
