State police report they have arrested 38 year old Fernando Rosado Guzman of Philipsburg for allegedly stabbing and killing 41 year old Brian Lyncha also of Philipsburg. According to police, the two men became embroiled in an argument and a physical confrontation, and that the incident was reported to police sometime late Friday afternoon on flood land in rush twp. Troopers say that Lyncha died at the scene while first responders tried to save his life. Guzman was arrested and charged with criminal homicide, and possession of an instrument of crime. The report also stated that police had detained two other people on Friday night in connection with this crime.
