News reports indicate that 43 year old Ben Guerin was taken into custody after he was pulled over for a second time on Sept 8th. Police report that Guerin was stopped once for an expired registration, inspection and insurance on his vehicle. At the second stop, he was pulled over for a headlight that was not working, and for tinted windows. Police noticed Guerin moving about inside the vehicle, and after they physically pulled him out, they discovered heroin and plenty of drug paraphenalia. Guerin was charged with felony aggravated assault after he fought with officers at the Altoona Police station, escape, possession with intent to deliver, DUI and other offenses.
