A report by WTAJ indicates that police have charged 55 year old Calvin Ward of selling heroin to the informant on September 19th. Ward is alleged to have set up a meeting at a local convenience store. Ward and the CI then were taken to the 200 block of 4th street to purchase heroin from 37 year old Matthew Hazlett. Ward allegedly purchased the heroin with cash. The informant also received a bag of weed in the transaction, according to the report. Ward was charged and brought to the county jail on $100,000 bond.
