Television news reports say that police arrested 48 year old Matthew Miller of Johnstown charging him with stealing more than $30,000 worth of drugs from Martella’s Pharmacy where he previously worked as a pharmacy technician. Employees at the pharmacy noted large discrepancies with their drug inventory. Miller was apparently seen on video stealing drugs including oxycodone, hydrocodone, lorezapam and xanax. Miller allegedly confessed to stealing the drugs, and is being held in the Cambria County jail, charged with criminal attempt of theft, forgery, receiving stolen property, possessing a controlled substance.
