According to a WTAJ report, Centre County commissioner Michael Pipe and 50 other elected officials from the keystone state spent yesterday at the white house. The purpose of the mission was to discuss how the Biden administrations investments are impacting Pennsylvania communities. But the only piece of legislation that pipe talked about was the American Rescue Plan Act, which sent billions to states to help with so called recovery efforts from the lockdowns imposed during the height of Covid. Pipe said that money has helped Centre County with public health issues, and to keep property taxes low.
