Altoona police announced the arrest of Travis Pfahler Monday night around 7:30 p.m. after receiving information that he was at a residence in Duncansville.Police said Pfahler tried to run and was caught after a short foot chase. Pfahler was placed in Blair County Prison on $100,000 bail for charges including felony theft and escape. He originally ran after stealing a car. his preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 12.
