Reports indicate that Samson Washington and Markus Benson were convicted for killing Damien Staniszewski and James Smith during a drug related incident that went horribly wrong. The defendants accused both victims of robbing a drug stash house back in 2017. Two other men were also charged in the case. Deandre Callender was acquitted of criminal conspiracy and kidnapping in the case, while Devon Wyrick will be tried at a later date. Washington and Benson will be sentenced in January.
