
The reports released last week during a school board meeting, reported that just over 61% of all students come from low income households. This figure represented the highest percentage of students in the county that come from low income families. The Hollidaysburg area school district reported the lowest percentage of students coming from low income homes at just under 36%. Across the state, the Farrell school district reported a 99% rate of students coming from low income houses. While Pine Richland schools reporting only 6% of their students come from low income homes.
