Police reported that 2 children had been shot during what they called an attempted homicide situation. Information released told of a shooter who apparently shot the children at a home on rock hill church road in Monroe Twp yesterday morning. State police reported that the shooter was located inside his or her vehicle just after the children were found. The shooter committed suicide with a gun in Fulton County. The injured children taken from the home were brought to UPMC Altoona for treatment of gunshot wounds, the other children were not hurt. Police do not have a motive for the shooting, and have told the general public that there is no danger remaining.
