A report by WTAJ indicates that the Luzerne County board of elections voted 2-2 to certify votes from the general election, and a 5th member declined to vote. The vote went along party lines, with 2 Republicans voting to not certify the results, and 2 Democrats voting in favor of certification. The 5th member is a Democrat who abstained. The hold up seems to be the idea of some people were turned away from voting because of a supply shortage, but that is not the case. The 5th board member said that he will vote to certify the election at a meeting tomorrow. Voters who spoke at last nights meeting, said there is plenty wrong with the election and want the election to be done over.
