TV news reports indicate authorities have arrested 41 year old Jason Pirl of Scottdale for allegedly taking more than $250,000 for contracting work that was never done. Pirl is alleged to have taken money from several homeowners in Westmoreland, Fayette and Somerset counties. Police say that they arrested Pirl in his vehicle in a parking lot located in Smithton, where hes was reportedly living. He was charged with theft. All 3 counties have filed charges against Pirl, who was arraigned yesterday in Westmoreland County.
