State Police report that charges have been brought against 14 year old Harmony Hayward of Johnstown in connection with the kidnapping and murder of 19 year old Hayden Garreffa last month. 7 adults have also been charged in this case. The group sis charged with conspiring to kidnap Garreffa and assault him. But as it turned out, Garreffa was killed after a physical assault went too far. Police investigating say that witnesses claim that 21 year old Issac Buchkoski was stomping and kicking Garreffa before he died, and that 2 18 year olds, Taylyn Edwards and Summer Settlemyer both stabbed Garreffa numerous times. Hayward has been charged as an adult in this case. All defendants are charged with felony kidnapping, criminal homicide, aggravated assault and conspiracy.
