The Altoona Mirror reports that police have charged 18 year old Robert Macak Jr who is facing arson charges for allegedly being at the scene of a fire at a Juniata duplex. The report indicates that a juvenile had gone to another house to get someone to call 911 for the fire and to get three other juveniles and Macak out of his house. Macak allegedly told Altoona police officers that he and the three juveniles were inside two apartments at 519 and 521 n. 5th avenue and they had allegedly started the fire. Macak is charged with arson, conspiracy to commit arson, and burglary, along with criminal mischief, theft and corruption of minors. The report did not contain charges against the three underage suspects.
