A report in the Altoona Mirror indicates that prices for home heating oil may continue to rise across the nation as winter heats up, and folks try to stay warm. A reports issued by the U.S. Energy Information office says that a combination of low supplies nationwide, coupled with a planned ban on Russian oil by the European union, will cause prices for home heating oil to continue to rise as 2023 arrives. The report also says that P has the third highest usage of heating oil in the nation, and that supplies are at their lowest since 1951. Users could see a 45% jump in oil prices for the winter heating season.
