
WTAJ reports that the Hope Fire Company of Northern Cambira has announced its “sound the alarm, save a life” campaign. This campaign will provide free smoke alarms and free installation. This project is in conjunction with the American red cross and is a nationwide effort by the red cross to help families escape fire in their homes. The hope fire company says it will provide the alarms to residents in Northern Cambria and Susquehanna Twp. The campaign has seen some 2.4 million smoke alarms installed across America.
