According to news reports, the fire broke out at the home located on Orange Blossom Lane in Duncansville. The fire started sometime late yesterday and was brought under control. Authorities said that snow plows had to be used to clear the way for fire trucks to get to the scene. The home was fully engulfed in flames according to the Allegheny Township fire chief. The chief said that the homeowners were trying to heat their water pipes with a portable heater when one of them apparently caught fire. There were no injures reported, and the fire is under investigation. The home was listed as a total loss.
