The Altoona Mirror reports that Judge Tim Sullivan is leaving the bench at the end of the week, three years before his term expires. Judge Sullivan was first elected to the bench back in 2005, and was retained for a second 10 year term. He will retire from full time duties on the bench, and will start his role as a senior judge, which will allow him to work significantly fewer days during the calendar months. This comes after Judge Dan Milliron retired from the bench at this time last year. A new judge will be appointed to fill out the remaining 3 years on Judge Sullivan’s term on the bench. Judge Sullivan announced his retirement from the bench earlier this year.
