A report by WJAC indicates that a water pipe burst at Richland High School on Christmas night. The director of facilities was checking the building when he discovered the water flowing through the main hall. The water poured from the guidance area and made its way to the main office. School officials say that water flow alarms installed at the school did not go off. The district superintendent said that the water damage is approximately $250,000. The leak will be repaired and school will begin as scheduled next Tuesday.
