State police on Centre County report that troopers pulled a vehicle over for having very heavily tinted windows. Once stopped, the three people inside the car produced fake identifications and told police they were going to Harrisburg to go outlet shopping. When police searched the vehicle they found more than $163,000 in forged checks to go along with their phony ID’s. Taken into custody were 46 year old Sandra Peppers and 38 year old Robert Hickman both of New York and 56 year old Courtey Auterbridge of York, PA. Police found marijuana in the car, which belonged to Peppers. The report also indicated that Peppers and Hickman were caught in New York state in September with $33,000 worth of phony checks. All three are locked up in the Centre County jail.
