Television news reports say that they arrested 30 year old Eric Prosser Jr last Saturday after he allegedly took a shot at his girlfriend Friday afternoon while she was staying with a friend. The report indicates that Prosser called the woman several times and told her he was going to shoot her and himself. Police say when they got to the scene on Bedford Street, they found several shell casings along with broken glass from a parked vehicle. Neighbors say that a gray Chevy sedan pulled away from the scene moments after the shots were heard. Prosser was arrested the next day, charged with illegal firearms possession by a convicted felon, possession with intent to deliver drugs, aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and altering a weapon.
