News reports indicates that the shelter, located on Branch Avenue in the city has opened its doors to families who need temporary shelter until they can find affordable housing. The shelter is also open to men and women. It provides 35 beds, 24 hour staff support , case management workers and life skills training. Those how qualify include those living in a condemned building, living in housing with health and safety threats, living in a vehicle or are facing eviction from their current address. The shelter provides a 30 day temporary stay and you must be on the by name or 211 list.
