The Altoona Mirror reports that Kyle Leonard says he want to have a seat on the board. Leonard says his main objective is to improve the quality of education that students receive. Leonard says that he want to give teachers all the resources necessary to improve education for students. Leonard says he will also be an advocate for students mental health issues and those services should be made available. He will run on both party tickets in the spring primary. Leonard is believed to be the first candidate to announce a run for school board for the primary.
