Television news reports indicate that police arrested Carl Miller of Portage for allegedly taking two shots at his wife…with a crossbow in their home last Saturday. Police say the couple began to argue over the fact that miller did not send his wife a card for valentines day or their anniversary while he was away from home. The argument continue after the couple returned from a bar, and that is when miller allegedly took a crossbow and fired it at his wife while she sat in a recliner, then took a second shot as she fled through the front door of their home. Miller is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment.
