According to a report by WJAC, the owner of Mahendi Projects in downtown Bedford vowed to rebuild after fire destroyed the business and damaged 2 others on Monday. The business sold personal jewelry, home goods and essential oils. The investigation into the fire has revealed that the blaze may have started in the rear of the building according to the Bedford fire chief, and does not appear to be of a suspicious nature according to the state police fire marshal who is conducting the investigation. The owner says she is grateful for the community support she has received since the fire.
