News reports suggest that many senior citizens and some other residents can sign up for the property tax/rent rebate program online. The program has delivered in the past some $7.6 billion in tax or rent relief to millions of pa residents. Those eligible include 65 and over, widows and widowers 50 and older, people 18 and older with disabilities. Income limits are $35,000/year for homeowners, and $15,000/year for renters. Rebates are $650, but can be boosted to $975. You can go to mypath.pa.gov to fill out your application.
