Police reports indicate that 22 year old Robert Short is facing charges of trying to shoot a 34 year old woman following a domestic disturbance where short is accused of physically abusing a 2 year old, then picked up a gun and began to fire. Police report that the woman called 911 and told dispatch that short was firing shots inside her home where she lives with the 2 children. State police say that the intended victim managed to escape her home with her kids and reached safety. Troopers arrested short inside the victims car without incident. He is charged with attempted homicide, terroristic threats, aggravated assault and other charges.
