According to WJAC, teachers and the school district have come to an apparent agreement that would end the nearly 2 week old strike. Details are few and not specific, but channel 6 did report that the agreement struck is for 4 years, and will get the kids back into classrooms today. The rift was caused by a proposed healthcare plan that wold have kept certain spouses off of the plan involving teachers, and about retirement money as well. The teachers were on the picket lines for 9 school days.
