WJAC reports that the victim in the case was on the stand all day, telling her side of the story as to what happened on September 19th, 2021. Thomas, the suspended Somerset County D.A., is accused of raping the woman inside her home in Widnber. The victim gave her day long testimony that included state police asking her to confront Thomas to gather information, and possibly get a confession for the rape. The victim testified that she was afraid to talk to Thomas, because she felt uncomfortable talking to the man who allegedly raped her. The jury was shown police photographs and saw text messages between the two, and they also listened to recorded phone conversations. The trial will continue today.
