According to PA State Police, the accident occurred on block hollow road when an unidentified driver of the car suddenly left the roadway, hit a ditch on the side of the road, then overturned. Both the driver and the passenger, 34 year old Amanda Hoffert were thrown from the vehicle. Police say that Hoffert was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was flown to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh with serious injuries. The investigation will continue.
