WTAJ reports that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has issued a ruling that will make it illegal to carry certain unregistered firearms without a pistol brace. This particular ruling will aafect mostly AR-15 style pistols, where the straps can allow the owner to brace a gun more effectively against his or her arm. One gun store owner in Centre County says this new ruling could turn millions of legal gun owners in to criminals without their knowledge. Any weapon with these braces must now be registered by may 31st. There is a $200 fee attached if brace owners choose to register the weapon
