WTAJ reports that the annual “Kids Cops and Cones” event will take place Saturday April 15th at the Meadows in Duncansville. Kids can come out to meet with local officers, take a look inside a police cruiser, and talk to them about law enforcement. The event is scheduled for 1-3 pm, and kids 12 and under can enjoy free frozen custard at the event. Members of the Allegheny Twp police dept, along with Blair County sheriff’s deputies and McGruff the crime dog will be on hand for the event. Along with frozen custard, there will be Italian ice, shakes and more.
