Television news reports indicate that multiple fire companies responded to the alarm on the 500 block of Gildea Drive in Allegheny Twp late Sunday night. Very few details about the fire have been released, but Blair County Coroner Patty Ross did confirm to WJAC that 1 person was killed in that fire. And neighbors said that they often saw the victim outside arranging religious signs. Firefighters took about 25 minutes to put out the flames. The investigation continues to try to determine the cause of the fire.
