According to a WTAJ report, work begins today on a bridge that carries state route 4034 over I-99 located in King Township. With that, Penndot says that both north and southbound lanes of I-99 will have lane closures starting today, and that work should go on for approximately 47 days. Only one lane in each direction will be closed, which reduces traffic to a single lane. Once that part of the project is finished, Penndot says work will begin on state route 1004. The entire project will cost $1.58 million, and should be finished by the end of September.
