A report by WJAC indicates that the primary organizer of Cambria County’s annual “Thunder in the Valley” motorcycle festival,visit Johnstown has decided to pull out of the event. Executive Director Lisa Rager told Channel 6 that Visit Johnstown wants to direct its funds towards promoting the region more, and not concentrating primarily on thunder in the valley. The organization says it will continue to promote motorcycling for the region, but will not organize the event. Visit Johnstown says it will work with the business community to help find sponsors to try and keep the rally going next year.
