
Reports out of Harrisburg say that Maria Battista, a Republican who is running for the State Superior Court, was struck by a vehicle Sunday night as she was putting up campaign yard signs. Very few details have been released, but police did say that Battista had to be hospitalized overnite with a broken collar bone, and she was released on Monday. Details about where the crash occurred or if police had any leads was not released. Battista is one of 4 candidates vying for 2 seats on the superior court bench.
