Television news reports say that 50 year old Ronald Korber of Davidsville, Somerset County has been accused of stealing more than $12,000 from the Conemaugh Twp High School band boosters club. Police say that they were contacted in august after the club’s treasurer discovered that money was missing from two band booster accounts. No specific details about the theft were released. Korber is charged with theft by unlawful taking, access device fraud, theft by failure to make required disposition of monies, all of which are felonies. A similar crime was reported earlier this year from united high school.
