A report by WTAJ indicates that police arrested 33 year old Kyle Lasko of Hollidaysburg after he tried to get away from Altoona police on Tuesday night. The report states that Lasko fled from police in a car while on 6th avenue and 17th street. Lasko apparently tried to get away by driving in to oncoming traffic, along sidewalks and through neighboring yards to get away. Finally officers sent a K-9 officer to track down Lesko after the fled on foot. He was taken to UPMC Altoona after he was caught then returned to police custody. Lasko had also reportedly ran away from Logan wp police earlier on Tuesday. He is facing felony charges of fleeing or eluding police and flight to avoid apprehension.
