
A report out of the state capital indicates the house has passed a series of 4 new bills to address hate crimes along with ethnic intimidation. All 4 bills were passed yesterday. Bills will enhance law enforcement training to investigate and identify crimes of ethnic nature. Address and investigate hate crime situations, particularly in schools, those convicted of hate crimes will have to perform community service or educational classes, and will up the penalty for these crimes for the already widely known reasons. The bills will move to the senate for its consideration.
